 | Nearly 85% of the rice consumed in the U.S. is grown by farmers in Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Texas. U.S. farmers each year produce around 19 billion pounds of high-quality varieties of short, medium and long grain rice, as well as specialty rices including jasmine, basmati, arborio, red aromatic and black japonica, among others.
Our rice packaged as Carolina whole grain brown rice, regular white rice, Carolina Gold® parboiled rice, or any of our delicious flavored rice mixes are "Grown in the USA".

Carolina Rice offers authentic quality specialty rices, also known as aromatic rice from countries like Thailand and India. | Carolina Thai Jasmine Rice is imported from the country of Thailand. Grown in the mountain highlands of Thailand, jasmine rice has a naturally distinctive scent released during cooking. Cooked, jasmine rice is soft, white and fluffy.
Imported from India, our premium quality Basmati rice is grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. Carolina Aged Authentic Basmati rice has a wonderful aroma while cooking. Each grain cooks up into a long, slender and fluffy grain. |
